These are very cute and comfy. I love the ribbed fabric. I would say they are true to size, but they do feel tight and compressive, especially at the waist, so if that's not what you want, you can size up. I think they're even cuter in person than any photo I was able to take.
I have practiced yoga in them and felt very comfortable the whole time.
I accidentally got the large, when I am usually in a medium, so they were a little bulky in some places. I didn't realize they would go all the way to the knee, so they were a little longer than I was hoping. Overall, they are very comfortable and breathable for working out. The material seems very durable, and not as thin as I was thinking they would be. Finally, they are flattering and I did not feel like I needed to cover up like I do in some biker shorts.

I don't generally wear shorts, but I really enjoy stylish athletic wear all year round for long walks with the dog and running errands. When I saw these navy blue ribbed testure biker shorts on the Amazon site, I knew they would make a nice addition to my current athletic attire. I ordered the medium (US 8-10) the shorts are a bit snug on me, but not binding. This is my first pair or biker shorts. I understand they are designed to be tight around the thighs. Once I have had an opportunity to wear them on several occasions and break them in a bit, I will know if a large size would be best. The 3 3/4" waistband is snug, but comfortable and does not roll down or over when I sit. The fabric is a very snug fit on my thighs, but also comfortable. The shorts hit about 1.5" above my knees. I am 5'6 and weigh 150 lbs. The fabric is more of a tight weave with some stretch. The shell is 80% nylon and 20% elastane. The waistband is lined with fabric that is 88% nylon and 12% elastane. The lining in the waistband is very soft and comfortable against the skin. The seller recommends washing (turning inside out) the shorts before the first wearing. I think this is excellent advice and something I generally do for any garment I purchase. If you are interested in why it is a good idea to wash a newly purchased garment before the first wear; you can research it on the internet. The shorts can be placed in the dryer on the low heat setting. I give these cute biker shorts 4 stars.
These navy, ribbed biker shorts sit high around your waist and then fall right above my knees. They are a nice quality fabric, but not as stretchy as other similar leggings I've tried. They run a little small, falling right at about a size 17. I wish they had pockets! But I do like how they fit for biking, running, and exercising.
